Jul 4, 2009 Definitely "easy to drink" but too weak and watery for what I expect from a Belgian. Light malts in the flavor with a light bitterness in the finish. Simple, but not bad.

Pours a dark red tea colour with some haze. A smallish but compact off white head. Smells fruity as well as dark malt. Taste is also fruity cherry/berries with a hop based citric taste as well. The mouthfeel is somewhat thin, but a nice sweet and mellow flavour stay with you. Nice beer.

Dec 4, 2004 Pours a slightly hazy amber with a monsterous frothy head. Interesting sour and apricot aroma. Medium body. Taste, again interesting. kind of like a lightly peppered apricot and a slice of bread. Certainly a different beer.

Apr 18, 2005 For the first few seconds, the aroma was decent, orange peel and spices. Then it got metallic and sour, really fast. Flavor follows suit, some spice, some caramel, lots of aluminum. It actually turned my stomach. I hope to Christ it was a bad bottle, but I won’t go back for another, so I’ll never know.

May 25, 2005 Transparent ruby amber, nice three finger head, pleasant sizzle and mostly lasting. Aromas of yeast, nuts, bread, caramel and faint alcohol. Flavor is mostly sweet malts and yeast, finishing with a warm clean finish. Very light in the mouth. Faint lacing.

Nov 1, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear, sparkling golden color with a large white head. Aroma of yeast and sourness. Possibly infected this beer had a tartness that wasn’t in itself bad, but detracted from an already bland flavor. Very mediocre.
