| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 26, 2006 Brown amber poured into Leffe stem glass. Perfumy malt, slightly fruity. Kinda plain for a Belgian ale but still is tasty. Dark malty flavor that leaves slightly dry. Weird label looks like something out of the Prancing Pony in Lord of the Rings. alafito (334), tijuana, Mexico
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Very mild, waterd down... Not what i was expecting from a Belgian Brewer. Some caramel and spices... a tad smoked. Not bad flavor, just not enough of it. Looks better than it tastes. temporrari (327), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 23, 2008 Poured into a snifter a light amber like color. It poured a small head. The aroma was very attractive and smooth. There were some floral notes, with a nice hop spicing and some carmel. It was sweet on taste but was a bit light for my liking in an amber. A good beer but not great. rampmaster (322), Alden, New York, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 27, 2008 Presentation: Poured from a 330ml/11.2oz bottle in to a tulip glass. It has a nice golden amber color with a slight haze. The head was crazy big, white in color and foamy with stiff peaks. It had a very long retention time and left cool lacing on the glass. The aroma is full and has notes of sour apples and pears with earthy/funky Belgian yeast and doughy malts. It has a sour funky favor with some fruity esters as well. The first sip has a puckering affect on the palate. Then there is a dry earthy yeast flavor with some doughy malts and light fruity esters that give it some nice complexity. The body is light to medium with a somewhat thin texture that is alive with carbonation. Overall I really enjoyed this ale. It had a nice refreshing character that would work very well with a light lunch, sea food, mild cheese or fruit.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 27, 2008 poured from bottle an amber color with off white head. Aroma comes off as slightly hoppy almost like a light IPA. The flavor hits with a malty sweet floral hoppiness, but has a slightly astringent bitter ending. I like how this beer starts I just wished it had a stronger finish for the price.
