Commercial Description:
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Bonus from Piscator34. Copper with a nice frothy head and delicate lacing. Bit of a weird aroma. A bit of nutmeg or pepper, malt and something a little sour and sharp. Body comes of a little thin. Has to be drunk relatively warm. Intriguing combination of brown sugar and sourness hinted at in the aroma.

In the bottle. Pours a big bubbled amber with a long lasting head. Not as powerful an aroma as I expected. Body is lighter than it should be. Lacks the complex flavors expected in an exotic Belgian ale. A pretty simple beer with great malty yeasty finish.

Small white head. Chestnut brown body with intense carbonation. Light sweetish caramel and paper aroma. Taste is light sweet paper and caramel. Tobaccoish aftertaste. Carbonation in mouth. Decent, but boring. (0.33l bottle.)

Hmmmm, amberish/gold pour. yeast and honey in the nose. Flavor is yeasty, malty and bread with a light hop note.

Bottle. Hazy orange-amber with a nice whitish head. Yeasty aroma with a touch of a lemon sweet/sour. Flavors of yeast, lemon, some richer fruit. Jut enough of a malt body. Good silky texture. More and more orange showing as you drink it. But still reminds me a bit of a lemondrop - not the drink- the candy.

Appearance is promising, nice head and colour. Aroma is okay, taste is quite simple, but okay.

Malt and yeast smells. Peach shade, good head, continuous carbonation. Malt sweetness, small tongue tingle. Smooth. Pleasant, average.

Slightly above average Amber Ale. Thick lively head, orange/caramel color. Dry, somewhat bitter finish. I had trouble detecting much aroma in this.
