Commercial Description:
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

11.2 oz stubby. Clear, lightly hazed gold with a thick white head. Lightly sweet fruity nose, a bit of dust and orange. Light, bouncy mouthfeel makes this pretty drinkable. Mild flavors of lemon and light grain, hints of coriander. Sheetlike lacing. Mild and inoffensive, this is a Belgian lawnmower beer, IMO.

Says amber on the bottle but is definitely closer to a double to me. Murky, muddy brown color which is not all that attractive. Earthy and fruity aroma. The fruit comes through in the flavor with some grape and apple in there. Overall a well rounded beer.

pours amber with minimal head and lacing. aroma of fruit and caramel, taste of fruit as well with some very slight bitterness. worth a try because it’s a little different but certainly not one of the best in breeds.

Appearance: Pours a clear, amber body with a smallish, white head. Fine curtains of lace on the way down. Smell: Pale malts adjacent to slice of crunchy French bread slathered in unsalted butter. Notes of sugar-coated fruits. Taste: Delicately-flavored, bready pale malts with just the faintest hint of grain. Sliver of butter. Mixture of tart, juicy Golden Delicious apples, pears, and sour lemons. Slightly herbal, slightly grassy hops with a mild bitterness. Sourish yeast character near the tail end. Finishes quite crisp with a final zip of fruitiness. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Nearly spritzy, moderate carbonation. Drinkability: Pleasant and easily drinkable, but leaves you looking for a bit more.

Golden tan color. Smell of caramel, grahmcrackers and honey. Taste of grahmcrackers, fruit, malt, honey and caramel. Dry white wine finish at the end.

Poured a cloudy amber with barely any head. Fruity, brown sugar, almost apple-cider like aroma.Smooth palate, light gassyness. Roasty maltiness in the finish.

Decent Belgian. Pour was a light to medium brown with no head. Aroma was honey and malt. Taste was sweet like a mix of honey, malt and yeast with not as much carbonation as most Belgians. Nice
