Aug 27, 2008 33 cl bottle - Pours a clear amber color with a one finger thick off white head. Very light lacing. Aroma is herbal hops and esters. Flavor is much of the same with some light malt sweetness thrown in there. Bitterness lingers a bit. Light to medium body. A decent beer.

Jul 21, 2005 Bottle. Amber coloured with a slim white head. Sweet malty and caramel aroma. Quite a thin mouthfeel, with a malty, sugary, caramel taste and a light sour finish. Nothing special.

Jun 25, 2009 Bottle. Pours an amber color with medium size off-white head. Aroma of malt anise and spices. Taste of caramel malt, yeast and nuts. Slight earthy flavor.
Not bad but nothing special about it. Easy to drink.

Jan 30, 2006 Typical abbey ale -- moderate malts, restrained hops, faint spices and honey, thin body, rather dry. For a Belgian ale, I would have preferred more prominent spices. Pleasant conversation beer but not spectacular.

Feb 15, 2008 Pours a copper color with a nice white head. Decent lacing. Fruit, citrus, nuts, sweet malt, bread, and some floral notes. Fairly watery and overall pretty boring.

Apr 25, 2006 Updated: Apr 26, 2006Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of sweet malts, citrus, caramel and yeast. Flavor is sweet, smooth, caramel, with a bitter finish. this was a let down for me.

Jun 8, 2006 Yeasty, caramel, malt aroma. AMber body, small white head. Taste is tangy, hits caramel, malts, then gets tart, medium body, with a super-dry finish. Refreshing, tasty stuff. Worth trying, but nothinhg to rave about.
