Commercial Description:
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Pours a dark hazy orange/brown sort of color. Lots of foam on top. Aroma is somewhat yeasy and grainy. A little bit of a fruity aroma. I think somw spice as well. Flavor is bitter and a little grainy. Some fruitiness as well. A little lacking in the flavor department. Easy to down, but not memorable.

Aromas of caramel malt and fruit. Brilliant coppery color with a slight beige head that tries to lace. Light plummy flavor, followed by a sour component, and finishes slightly bitter and semi-dry. A really pleasant drink.

This is a fairly drab Amber, Has a slight bitter aftertaste, with a hint of burnt hops, not bad, but I wouldnt have it again.

Very hazy orange. Medium-white head, collapsing. Yeasty nose, fruity-estery, a sourish tinge as from wheat, coriander. Very neutral taste: again wheatimpression. Retronasal flavour as from celery, and ironoxide finish. Light to medium-bodied. Lively carbonation. Ok - but nothing exciting.

Not very bubble, but a big sea-foam head. Unpleasantly sour and not particuarly complex.

Malt and yeast smells. Peach shade, good head, continuous carbonation. Malt sweetness, small tongue tingle. Smooth. Pleasant, average.

330 ml bottle. 2nd time tasting this, last time was badly infected and undrinkable. Golden orange colour with a huge fizzy and frothy tan head. Tangy and sour citrus and apple aroma. Tangy, sour, cherry, and citrus flavours with an acidic and lightly bitter finish. Light to medium bodied and dry mouthfeel. Better than last time, but nothing special.
