Friendly appearance, light dull amber with fast disappearing white head. Yes, this one can wake up your tongue fast, sharp flavour, a bit watery feel. It gave me impression that it was diluted in ratio 2:3. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 26, 2004 Clouded orangey amber hue, strong carbonation, good foam. Sweet malty, spicy aroma with vinegary cheesey notes. Overly carbonated on the palate and pretty thin. Starts out sweet with some fruitiness, finishes sour with a slight bite. Less carbonation and more body would make this decent. legion242 (1586), Richardson, Texas, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 16, 2005 This beer pours the color of motor oil and is slightly darker than honey. Nice looking beer but with very little head. Lacing tends to slowly move down the glass. The aroma is on the thin side but hints of raisens and yeast are evident. Not at all unpleasant. On the mouth it is thin and grabs the tongue very far back. The beer has an interesting combination of bitter and sour but it manages to balance the two. It finishes with more tartness. Dry, somewhat bitter finish. I had trouble detecting much aroma in this. radiomgb (2057), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 11, 2002 Amber clear with large creamy white chunky head generating scattered lace blobs. Very faint but pleasant floral, light bitter hops, and some reminders of decaying Belgian roadside ditch water algae aroma. Sprightly bitter start but fades rather quickly to more of a faintly sour flat English draft ale than a Belgian anything.
