Commercial Description:
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Pours a clear copper. The aroma is a bit of overripe candied apple. Some slight brown sugar in the flavor as well. This has a bit of the taste of extract beer, though.

Thanks to DMeyers69. A light fruity cherrywood aroma with a bit of Belgian yeast. Somewhat tart, but also has a bit of nutty hint to it. Light alcohol smell, too. Is medium dark amber, clear, with off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with mild carbonation. Starts with a sweet nuttiness, a bit dry, with some tang. Mild fruity malt with ozone-like quality. Burnt toy electric train tang. Kind of watery overall, like an amber ale mixed with some flemish sour ale.

Pour is a clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is a sour bready with a hint of skunk. Flavor is sweet and hoppy but not much else. Slightly bland and boring. This is the boring beer of Belgium.

Huge frothy head atop a hazy amber/copper body. Hay-like dry fruit aroma with grape skin hints. Flavor is light and tastes sweet & dry like watered-down slightly yeasty sprite. Too much carbonation... burns the tongue. Nothing special to me.

(Bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a descent off-white head. Aroma of wheat and wet grass with a hint of fruit. Flavor of sweet malt with some earthiness.

Amber colour, white head. toasty aroma, fairly chewy and sweet with a light dried apricot and pear aroma. Light plumminess and a sweet richness. Lingering earthiness and toasted malt.

An ok Belgian, abit on the mild side, yeasty, Citrus, slight hops, an ok introduction to Belgians with low alc.

11.2 oz. bottle. Poured a clear amber, with a very strong fuit nose. Citris, apricut. Firm foamy head, offf white in color. Sour taste, not very nice. Taste like , fruit, but not good fruit. oh, I do not like this. Bitter also.
