Mar 31, 2009 330ml Bottle: Aroma of apples, yeast, pale malts, and grains. Poured gold/amber/apple juice in color with a small, rocky, white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Full of extremely tiny particles throughout. Good to very good lacing. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of pale malts, grains, yeast, light apple, light fruit, slight dough, a hint of pollen, and a cloying sweetness. Light to medium body. Thin, oily texture becomes slightly dry. Average carbonation. carbonation. Cloyingly sweet, light yeast finish is lightly dry.

Oct 3, 2003 Slightly hazy light copper colour with a thin off-white head. Sweet honey aroma with a bit of malt. Medium to Light-bodied; Strong carbonation, subtle sweet flavours wrapped around a mild maltiness. Aftertaste very mild and only somewhat showing the flavour. Overall, not great for a belgie and should be overlooked. I bought this 33 cL bottle at Green's Beverages in Atlanta, Georgia and sampled it on 27-September-2003.

Nov 11, 2004 Updated: Jul 9, 2005Bottled, picked up in Brugge.Foggy, white misted amber. Dull malt flavour amongst the large, slightly astringent aroma. Dull, dry and coarse flavour and palate.
Also had at the Belgian Fest in East Croydan and had to add this to the rating for Duff. ’Duff says bready caramel, Wow, woo hoo yeh....carmel’.

Sep 23, 2004 Amber with a foamy white head. Aroma was complex: spice, fruit, sugar, herbs. Mouthfeel was nothing notable. Perhaps a bit too carbonated. Flavor was spicy and fruit like some herbal tea.

Jan 10, 2004 Pours a cloudy reddish copper with a mountain of off white head if not poured gently. Big time yeast. Smells like a bakery. Very strong dough scents with a touch of soup / malts.
Maybe a touch of sour milk. Sharp carbonation on the tongue with a yeasty palate.
