Aroma is of honey, raisins, wheat, funky/musty old hops (similar to a gueuze), hints of alcohol, cinnamon, and a hint of red wine.
Taste is "wow" - reminds me of lindemans gueze, but with added coriander. Again, honey, cinnamon. Alcohol is highly noticeable. Hint of extract twang Bit of orange sherbert. Very watery finish with no bitter backing.
Creamy carbonation, but feels watery on palate.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 21, 2009 Bottle (in NZ), pours a crystal clear gold with a large white frothy head. The nose carries a sweet spicyness with a light citrus tang. Quite spritzy with a bit of a bland cardboard palate. Finish is a touch peppery, but still don’t get a lot of flavour. Just a bit lacking. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
