First rating
(Draught at The Rover, Göteborg)
Shady orange color, fluffy white head. Spritzy acidic malty scent. Spicy banana and metallic taste. Metallic and grainy aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. A bit creamy. Feels like a weak Belgian Wit, but works nice as a summer beer.

I’m guessing its the same beer, though this was called Steen Brugge Blonde, at 6.5% ABV.
Clear golden color, white to yellow lasting bubbly head. Banana ester, acidic, amlty, sweet and metallic taste. Herbal bitter taftertaste. Sweet, fruity and banana ester scent. MEdium to spritzy mouthfeel. Medium bitterness, perhaps to the low side.

Thought this one was going to be ok off the back of the aromas; sweet spices and cloves in a Leffe kinda way, with more than a hint of banaa confectionary. Palate got unfriendly very quickly with the sweet flavours haddening and getting suprisingly bitter. A touch thick and sickly.

This blond has a nice head on the warm golden brew. The aroma is both hoppy and malty, and the flavour is sweetish with notes of apple and citrus, that a short while is rather harsh, but gradually fades out. It’s a rather light blond.

Clear orange gold with a fluffy white head that didn’t really last. A yeast dominated aroma with banana and some soft spice that makes it seems like a liquid dessert. Actually, I’ve changed my mind. It has a creamy coconut milk finish that has me thinking, in a light bulb over the head moment, of a pina colada (although light on the pineapple - maybe a banana colada). Quite a sweet taste, with some bitterness hanging around that combines with the sugary sweetness making it a touch cloying and sickly. It’s got an interesting aroma that had me thinking, but it wasn’t something that I really enjoyed (the beer not the thinking that is).
