Poured hazy brown color with a large frothy brown head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a dry texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy complex sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Good, but my expectations where not met.

The aroma has notes of ripened dark fruits (plums for example), Belgian yeast and earthy esters, a hint of spicy American hops, and a touch of leather vapours. The taste starts with very clean moderately sweet malt profile supported by a slightly fruity and spicy background. Consistently yeasty and shows the house character throughout. The mouth feel is dry and chalky with a aspirin like finish which is a downer. Quite strange and not much like a classic Flemish Brown Ale at all. Perhaps because of the American twist, I dunno.
