atpayne (615), Zionsville, Indiana, USA Oct 20, 2006 On tap at the Brugge. This is one of the most unique looking beers I’ve ever seen. Served in a tulip glass it is the color of a not quite ripe apricot sitting beneath a full creamy snow white head. It is cloudy and sitting in a rounded glass it looks like a piece of fruit. There is a nice wit aroma full of yeast and wheat grains and it has a sense of a bit of tangyness. The flavor is neither amazing nor underwelming and contains the characteristics you expect from a wit; tangy and yeasty flavors with a nice amount of full ness and even a little fruity sweetness and spice. It also begins to show a bit of an alcohol sting on the tongue. Overall it’s a nice beer.
