| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Bottle… Clear yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Yeasty, grainy and citric, the aroma offers notes of warm bread, straw, herbs and benign citrus fruit. Light-bodied and fizzy. Citrusy, breadsy flavor – hardly any spices or esters. Crisp, mildly spiced finish. Refreshing. CaptainCougar (5544), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Bottle: Pours a hazy pale golden with a wispy white head. Aroma of lemon citrus and grassy hops with a touch of coriander. Body starts effervescent with lots of citric tartness and light malted wheat flavor along with a touch of biscuity yeast before a smooth, semi-tart finish. A pretty decent attempt at a witbier, but it tastes more like a Berliner Weiss with all the tartness. Still pretty refreshing. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2008 Bottle from Pat’s Liquors in Porter, IN, without a "The" on it: This has the classic Wit look, a cloudy pale straw body with a tall, sustained head. Oddly, very little lacing. Plenty of carbonation. The aroma was grassy with some soft wheat malt and a lemony tartness. The lemon intensified in the flavor, perhaps a bit too much, because it began to negate other tastes as the ale warmed. The finish is a combo lemony tartness with a grassy/herbal bitterness. Not too bad. Tmoney99 (4800), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Draft sample at Keg Fest under the name of White. Poured hazy amber color with a minimal fizzy white head that was mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate sweet citrus & yeast aroma. Medium body. Medium sweet & sour citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable soft beer. BBB63 (4274), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Tap at brewery: Hazy golden hue with a small lasting head and some lace. The aroma has notes of clove, coriander, orange zest, grassy and herbal esters, bready malt, acidic funk (but not brett) and a hint of wintergreen mint too. The taste is a tad sour and displays a fruity acidity (think JP Bam Biere) with a layer of bready and wheaty soft grains in support. Then the spice kicks in a almost overpowers the rest of the palate. The aftertaste is a tad iodine like. The mouth feel is lively and light-bodied but it still lacks the crisp refreshment of the best of the genre. Still not a bad attempt and I found it enjoyable enough.
