Oct 23, 2009 Golden blond colour. Flavour of this tripel has great balance of grains, sweetness and spiciness. Very easy to drink and moorish.

Oct 6, 2009 0,33 l bottle as a gift. Delicious appearance with a hazy-opalescent body under a foamy and stable white head what never disappears fully....Fine fruits in the aroma(what opens slowly- as the beer gets warm): apple, orange peel, some must, vanilla and a relishable floral hop. Smooth mouthfeel with a well balanced tripel character: flavor of fine malt, fruity esters like orange and apple. Spicey feeling of clove, vanilla and cinnamon, strong but well hidden floral hop. Dry aftertaste. Fine tripel one.

Aug 28, 2009 A late night drink while we were staying at The Montanus in Bruges on our honeymoon. It was an alright tripel actually, quite easy to drink. Clear yellow gold with small to medium white head. Yeasty aroma with smattering of malts and some vanilla sweetness. Not bad. And the barman let me have a smoke with my beer indoors! Belter. Just like the good ol days

Aug 28, 2009 Bottle. Very hazy deep orange amber with a huge lively orange-tinted head that shows fantastic retention. Aromas of vanilla yoghurt, spices, cherries. Sweet vanilla and toast flavours, spicy, cherry fruit. Peppery finish, mild bitterness. Creamy smooth mouthfeel, full-bodied. I’m generally not the biggest fan of tripels, but I really liked this one.

Aug 4, 2009 On tap somewhere in Brugge. Clear yellow, small head. Aroma is malty and slight hop. Some alcohol. Taste is very alcoholic at first. Some malt and hops. A bit spicy. Better than the Brugs blond but still nothing really special.

Jul 28, 2009 Tap at Staminee de Garre in Brugge. Hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma is malt, green apple and yeast. Flavor is more of the same, slightly grainy, with alcohol noticeable. Very appley. Palate medium for the style.
