Almost amber color, white head, good lace. Sweet, bitter, citrus, pineapple, but very onedimensional and certainly too sweet. Sparkling at first but sticky cloying later. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 10, 2005 330 ml bottle. Golden amber. Lively carbonation with a persistent head. Terrible aroma. Smells like a pair of old rubber boots. I feared that this beer was totally off. It ain’t, but it sure smells awful. Flavour is full of caramel, and the alcohol is noticeable. The carbonation dominates the palate. Aftertaste, is thin. There is still a year left until the best before date, so I’m a bit uncertain what is wrong with this beer. I’ve still got a bottle left, so I’ll give it another try in the near future. (Final note: Just for the record; I emptied the bottle.) Quinten (966), zaandam, Netherlands
