Feb 9, 2006 Updated: Mar 30, 2008Bottle@Home. Citrus, pineapple and mainly cooked veggies aroma. Almost amber color, white head, good lace. Sweet, bitter, citrus, pineapple, but very onedimensional and certainly too sweet. Sparkling at first but sticky cloying later.

Jan 7, 2006 bottle. pours a dark copper body with a fairly lush large white head. the aroma consists of floral hops, dusty alcoholic pears and apples. almost cider-like. starts out very sweet and warm with some of that aforementioned fruitiness coming through. the body is quite soft and creamy. finishes with a somewhat dry bready character. not the greatest tripel but it’s certainly drinkable.

Dec 27, 2005 Orange coloured brew. Aroma is not too good, a bit yeasty and apple. A bit chemical too. Does not really taste like a tripel. Hollow taste, not too exciting.

Dec 26, 2005 Clear orange body, offwhite medium slowly disappearing head, little lacing.
Aroma of hops and yeast (leaves, basement aromas), underlaying malts, sulphur, coriander. Oily palate. Sweet thin flavour, malty, spicy, warming spicy finish.

Dec 25, 2005 Bottle. Creamy excellent fully lasting head. Yellow cloudy colour. Yeasty aroma and very good flavour. Long finish and very oily palate.

Dec 20, 2005 Bright amber colour, with a short flat head. Initial burst of citrus on the tongue, gives way to a slightly chemical tang and bitter after taste. Drunk at 10 deg C Not overly impressed.

Dec 10, 2005 330 ml bottle. Golden amber. Lively carbonation with a persistent head. Terrible aroma. Smells like a pair of old rubber boots. I feared that this beer was totally off. It ain’t, but it sure smells awful. Flavour is full of caramel, and the alcohol is noticeable. The carbonation dominates the palate. Aftertaste, is thin. There is still a year left until the best before date, so I’m a bit uncertain what is wrong with this beer. I’ve still got a bottle left, so I’ll give it another try in the near future. (Final note: Just for the record; I emptied the bottle.)

Nov 23, 2005 Dark brown with tall tan head. Fruity aroma with notes of raisins. Slightly bitter start and then a little fruity and smoky,.. very wel tripel.
