Bottle. The Brugse tripel used to be one of my favourites, now it seems that is has gone down in depth of taste. Lots sweeter then the original. Still not a bad tripel. Golden with a white head, Cistrus and a little bit soapy. Little bit to sweet.

Bottled. Pours a hazy dark golden with a big white head. Aroma is yeasty, citrus, with some malts, and a hint of coriander. Taste is sweet, lemon and orange, coriander.

(bottle) Clear amber colour with a medium foamy white head. Slight aroma of apricots and malts. Sweet malty flavour, soft carbonated. Dry and fruity (apricot) aftertaste.

Dark yellow, low head. Aroma starts a bit faul, but the faul aroma is gone after an hour in the glass. Flavor bitter and hoppy, a little spice.

Tasted 28/03/2005. 330ml bottle from Regional Wines and Spirits. Pours a deep, slightly hazy, golden amber with an amazingly pure white head. Very lacey. Nose is citric and spicey. Flavour almost whisky-like in its maltiness but for the yeastiness and lemon hop notes. Some soapiness in the palate the only real downfall.

Bottle. Warm golden app. with small head. Sweet, oranges and citrus - with bite from the skin, yeast, bitter-dry finish. Flavors don’t meld together well.

Pours a golden hue with a small head. Aromas of spice, yeastiness, and a little honey. Flavors of the same but without the over-cloying initial mouthfeel of most triples.
