("Brugge Blond", 6.5% ABV) Clear, slightly darkish lager color with medium, lacy head. Mild honey-toffee aroma. Sweetish, oaky flavor, much the same as in Palm special. Light to medium-bodied, oily palate. Tastes more like a strong lager than a blonde because of the filtering and sweetness.

Light in color. Pours with a nice froathy head, which quickly dissapates. A bit sweet, but average at best.

Golden orange, fully clear at start; huge head, collapsing, bit of lace. Cookies, fruity - citrus in the nose, and alcohol. Slightly sweet with some fruity and earthy flavours. Head has all the bitterness. Obvious alcoholburn in the mouthfeel, but liitle effect on the taste. rather dry. Strange beer. Unexciting, but the fruity aroma's seem to hint at something better to come. Which doesn't.

Nothing about this beer really stands out, very lightly malty, a little acidic. Light, very foamy, refreshing but no flavour.

On Tap at Tango du Chat, Paris: interesting lemon nose - coriander too. Orange with a tiny foamy head leaving laces. Grapy and sourey in taste. Fullmouth - sour, but not to sour - good refresher in summertime.

Blond with a medium creamy head. A carbonated, bitter, dry and slightly sour beer. It really grows in your mouth when you drink it. Not my kind really but I realize it has some character.

I had a chance to sample this beer when I was in Brugge, and it did not disappoint.
