23rd February 2008. Slightly watery and with a distinct buttery start. This carries over on to the finish.

As Brugs Tarwebier has already several years the new name "Brugs Witbier", I drunk this from a 25 cl bottle. It’s a hazy light yellow-coloured beer with a meium head in the beginning becoming fast a little white, lasting head. The smell is very witbier-like: wheat, with some citrus and coriander notes as well, but not very strong. The taste is grainy, light spicy, a bit watery with a nice mouthfeel. Also some citrus tastes are noticeable. Nice and good beer to drink, but a bit lacking of a special taste to speak of "Hoegaarden"-level. Or even stronger: St Bernardus Wit-level, but this one is already outstanding phenomenal.

Draught, as Brugs - Blanche de Bruges. Small head that dissapears very quickly. Looks like a very murky lemonade, aroma of bubblegum and citrus and some spice, flavour of citrus and bubblegum, flavourfull long lasting sour aftertaste. Overall the beer feels a bit german in character. Simple but very fresh and excellent easy drinking.

[bottle @ RBESG 2009] Herbal aroma: coriander and celery with plenty of pine and apple. Cloudy yellow with a white ring. Ginger and coriander flavovur with some celery and moderate bitterness. Plenty of residual sweetness, pineapple juice, aspartame at the end. Light body, moderate carbonation, herbal finish.

Cloudy, light blond with thin white head. Nose was slightly off, and yeasty. Excellent citrus/orange taste.

Bottle. Citrus koriander aroma on a grainy bottom. But overall watery sour. Something wrong with the flavors here. Half decent though.
