| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 3, 2007 This hazy yellow ale poured with a nice white head that shrunk rather quickly. This is a typical Belgian witbier with a light wheat flavor, complemented by orange peel and coriander. The flavor is a bit too thin and a bit too sweet for this style of beer. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2006 Bottle. Hazy looking light orange colour with a three finger frothy head that was mostly diminishing. Fair lacing left in glass. Initial sniff reminded me of Hoegaarden with notes of citrus, coriander, apple, and banana. Mouthfeel was kind of disappointing compared to Hoegaarden, as this felt quit watery. Light to medium bodied, with a slight carbonated feel. Light sweet flavour with a ditto sweet finish. Not a great Witbier, I will take the Hoegaarden any day over this one. fonefan (11640), VestJylland, Denmark

Re-rate: Aroma is tart and tangy with a bit of lactic acid. Flavor is fresh with lemony notes, and some lactic tang. Flavor is so much better than I formerly thought. The acidic quatlity is a lot more refrehsing and flavorful than I formerly thought. mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 6, 2006 Cloudy light yellow body, small white head with good lacing. Lemons and more lemons. Lemony tartness. Some wheat and yeast are drowning in this lemon juice. I bought it as a Blanche De Bruges. They’ve probably changed the name cause it was bad for tourism to associate such a boring beer to one of Belgium main attraction.
