Cloudy light yellow body, small white head with good lacing. Lemons and more lemons. Lemony tartness. Some wheat and yeast are drowning in this lemon juice. I bought it as a Blanche De Bruges. They’ve probably changed the name cause it was bad for tourism to associate such a boring beer to one of Belgium main attraction.

Bottle 0,25l at The Dovetail London EC1 14 Sep 06. Served in a pretty tumbler. Creamy white head. Fruity aroma and flavour. Classic wheat-beer.

well water, slightly cheesy/sweaty/baked bread aroma; typical faint witbier presence; yet seemingly simple, and in the end, clean... not bad, not great. somewhat chewy yet smooth palette, fruity notes of sweet lemon--not sour, could use a lil’ twist. decent brew.

Bottle at home. Unclear white with a large white head, OK lacings. Aroma moderate malty (fruity) and yeasty. Flavor moderate sweet and acidic. Light/moderate body, soft carbonated. Good.

Bottle. The aroma was weaker than I’d expected, but definitely fruity. The appearance was a very hazy gold, but the precipitate in the beer had clotted quite a bit. The flavor was mildly sweet and fruity, it went nicely with the fish I had for dinner. The mouthfeel was nice and light. Not bad.

Very pale yellow with hazy center. Good white creamy head. Aroma is not as sweet as other wits, but its still mostly banana. The is a flowery tone as well along with some caramel. The taste is likewise a bt more bitter, quite low carbonated and ending with the usual sweetness.

Bottle. Typical witbear appearance and aroma. There’s an interesting note of grapefruit, but unfortunately, I found the flavour and palate to be thin and quite dissappointing.

Sampled draught at Hotel du France Pub 21, Pontarlier, France. Hazy lemon coloured, fruity aroma with nice spicy and citrusy notes, mild wheat touch, very refreshing. Tipical belgian witbier.
