A half-way decent Belgian white, competitive with Hoegaarden and Blue Moon for sure, perhaps a bit more astringent.

Small head. Quite boring citrus aroma. Acidic taste, with nearly no finish.

A cloudy, refreshing wheat beer (draft version, served with a slice of lemon). A thirst-quencher on a sunny day!

33 cl bottle. Pale yellow, slightly hazy beer with a thin white head. Light citrusy nose, faint hint of corander and a prominent lactic aroma. Body is quite thin and very tart. Sort of a cross between a wit and a berliner weisse. Tart sourness, lactic/citrus flavour with a touch of spice. Refreshing.

A basic white beer. Very yellow and cloudy colour with a limited head that dissipates extremely fast. Citrus aroma on a quite sour flavour. Very fizzy and watery body. Not a lot of aftertaste. A beer that could be drunk with a dessert or a sweet course. Feels good with dark bread too.

Cloudy and pale yellow with a small white head. Looks like an old fashioned glass of Schweppes ’ginger beer’ I used to drink when I was a kid. A lot of yeast in the aroma. Slight citrus taste and a lot of cereals, but the overall feel is watery. Bit too much fizz. A rare Belgian disappointment.

a sim rate: (on tap) This beer is always like an old friend and well-remembered as the beer that started us on this downwards (?) spiral into beer obsession. A brugs and Belgo rye bread. Like an old friend. A very mellow but otherwise standard white. Creamy lemons with a very slight hint of something sweet. Honey? smells strangely like cork. Seriously. Very much so and a bit bizarre.
