I ordered the "witbeir on tap", and was presently suprised. It was nice and smooth. Nothing extremely suprising in terms of flavor, but it was very drinkable, and I could have stuck with it all night. Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 23, 2004 The bottle is completely different here. This is a funny one. I have seen it in a number of bottle shops over the past few months, knowing that I hadn’t tasted and rated it, but somehow it wasn’t on my list of must dos. It seems my hesitation is somewhat well founded. Not because it is a bad beer, but simply because it is inoffensive. It looks like a wit and has an aroma like one, but there is not an assertion that one wants. It is rather bland really with the usual fruity and spicy esters but there is no real character. Its ok, but not worth the $6 I paid for the bottle. Dalle (1146), Skørping, Denmark

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 18, 2004 Murky lemon coloured body with a medium sized white head. The aroma was spicey and wheat. Flavour was lemon citrus with cloves, medium body for a witbier and ok to drink but nothing outstanding! maeib (4768), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2004 Draught. A typical Belgian wit with a spicy, wheaty aroma and a cloudy yellow colour. The taste is spicy with hints of clove; and refreshing. The mouthfeel is slightly thinner than some wits and there is not that satisfying creaminess, but it is a good beer for sure. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2004 Lemon yellow sky! Maybe I’m weird or I like weird beer, but I gave this a nice rating for looks. Rest, except for the lemony aroma, that carries into the flavour, doesn’t do as well with me. Somehow rough. haukur (684), Reykjavik, Iceland
