Jul 11, 2003 Updated: Aug 10, 2007Typical light hazy yellow color. Inspiring lemon, oranges and spices aroma. You feel refreshed already after the first sip from the well balanced sweetness with a little tart taste towards the end that leaves you all ready for a new adventure: Best white beer I ever tried.
I had the chance to revisit. This was a rating from my first week on the site. Still enjoyable and a classic example, but nothing really sets it apart from other wits.

Jul 3, 2003 Bright hazy yellow hue. Pours with a frothy, white head. Markedly fruity,lemon and peach-scented aromas. Crisp, tangy flavors with a suggestion of fruit sweetness. Somewhat dry and sour on the finish.

May 7, 2003 Light wheaty flavour, you get bored pretty quickly. Little bit of yeast bite in the end. Not particularly refreshing either, it's as though there is a trace amount of bile in it.

May 5, 2003 Hazy yellow color, medium sized, medium lasting head. Spicy aroma, coriander. Belgian white taste, but more sweet. Sticky body, not as refreshing as most other whites. Quite dry finish even.

May 4, 2003 Spicy, refreshing nose. Okay. Cloudy yellow coloured, head is quite fast gone. Typical belgian white taste, bit boring, but okay. Refreshing palate.

Mar 18, 2003 A very ugly beer. Looks like lemon juice with foam. Very thin and watery, but with some interesting notes of clove.
