Brugs Tarwebier

I tried this on tap at a small cafe in Paris. Like most Witbiers, the liquid is unfiltered and yellow with a very nice head. The aroma and flavor are very citrusy and sour. While refreshing, this is not a special brew.

330ml bottle (Garre, Bruges)
Bright yellow, tiny head. Light refreshing wheat beer aroma. Sweet fruity taste, some raisins and apricot. A bit fizzy. Finish is apricot. A little watery.

Bottle. Pale golden with floaties. Wheaty spiced coriander aroma. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet and wheaty with coriander, bit of citrus and yeast.

[Tasting @ yespr] Hazy pale golden with medium white head. Sweet wheaty and fruity aroma with yeasty and coriander notes. Sweet spicy and yeasty flavor with wheat and fruit notes.

33 cL bottle, as Brugs witbier. Pours pale yellow, hazy and with a white head. Mild wheaty aroma, very mild coriander note. Flavour is banana wheaty and mellow from the Belgian yeast. Ends smooth towards slight cloying (too much wheat).

Sweet lemon aroma. white foam and white yellow colour. Very soft lemon flavor with a sweet palate. Good soft beer. (I knew "Brugs")

There is a modest head on this golden, cloudy wit, but it leaves a nice surface. The aroma is discreet with notes of citrus and the mouthfeel is prickly. The flavour is spicy and has a nice citrus note. Light, refreshing and OK.
