| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 9, 2007 A really nice, refreshing white beer. Citrus smell, with lots of stuff going on inside the glass. I enjoyed the flavor, finish, and everything about this beer. The problem is that the rating system is set up unfairly for this style of beer. Even completely ordinary white beer score high become the tendancy of the aroma and appearance to be pleasant. This was no where near the best white beer I have ever had, but there was certainly nothing wrong with it. My only complaint is that is wasn’t very original and nothing above the ordinary for this style. Certainly to be enjoyed during the hot summer months, but don’t travel to Jumet just to give it a try. Cheers. LaChad (1375), San Francisco, California, USA

Milky-yellow...I think this is their witbier and I just don’t know the Flemish word for wheat? (ed: Turns out to be so). I think I’ve had this before (ed: Turns out to not be so). A pretty typical hefe...yep, banana, clove, spice. Maybe a slight soapiness that isn’t quite enough to deduct a point. Average, but it was a bit of a waste of alcohol-tolerance given that I’m in freakin’ Belgium. GeneralGao (3078), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 14, 2007 Draft. Hazy yellow color. Head was white and reduced rapidly to a thin film. Nice aroma of yeasty bread dough and citrus. Delicately sweet on the tongue. Tasted of cereal grain, subdued orange, and a touch of coriander. Not bad. OleR (2121), Oslo, Norway

Beautiful apperance; Huge and creamy off-white head over an unclear pale yellow body. Aroma of light spices, sweetish citrus and a some earthy hops. Taste is very clean, rounded and mild. Slight acidic lemon and wheat. Light body. Short dry end. Well balanced and utterly refreshing. M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg
