10 dec 2009, bottle: Big creamy head this time, small bubbles. Sweet aroma, some fruit (black berries ?), tastes light bitter, sweety, a bit flat. Short to average finish.

Oct 24, 2009 Clear mahogany with a medium sized beige creamy head. Sweet aroma with roaasted malt, caramel and overripe fruits. Flavour was sweet with roasted malt, caramel, ripe fruits and toffee. Finished sweet and full.

Oct 23, 2009 33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Deep ruby, lots of floaters, thick beige head. Syrupy malty alcohol aroma, some boiled brown sugar on it, some Belgian yeast. In mouth, more estery yeast, some more kind of boiled in a saucepan toffee and malt. Finish has a bit of hop sting. More or less ok. I like the Brugse beers in general as they are pretty drinkable if not that exciting. Ok.

Jun 15, 2009 Bottle acquired in Bruges. Dark red-brown with a light tan head and a vine-fruity aroma. Smooth on the palate with a medium-sweet malty body, caramel and a gentle bitter finish, and the candied vine fruits hanging around on the aftertaste.

Apr 28, 2009 Bottle at Delirium. Dark brown color with tan head. Dark fruity aroma. Med. body with smooth carbonation. Malty, but not overly sweet. Not a huge amount of hop, but it seems balanced. Good drink.
