| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 23, 2009 33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Deep ruby, lots of floaters, thick beige head. Syrupy malty alcohol aroma, some boiled brown sugar on it, some Belgian yeast. In mouth, more estery yeast, some more kind of boiled in a saucepan toffee and malt. Finish has a bit of hop sting. More or less ok. I like the Brugse beers in general as they are pretty drinkable if not that exciting. Ok. Parket (262), Bruges, Belgium

Just like the taste: very sweet, nice malty, roasted malts. Decent beer but not complex and a bit monotone. BeerViking (207), Brentford, Greater London, England
