| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 26, 2002 Very exceptionel for a belgian strong ale on 9% to be so kindly. Beautiful dark orange/light brown-coloured with a strong head. Malty aroma. A lot of bubbles and a strong taste of alcohol makes it suitable for a goodnight drink. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 12, 2002 One of the most delicate amber-colored triples I ever had. It sticks slightly on the tongue and warms the hole stomach to an appropriate temperature. A great beer to end the thirst on a cold winter night. The reasen I dig this, is that the 9 % alcohol is not so prominent as other Belgian blonde strong ales. motelpogo (4399), Plzen, Czech Republic

Beer is okay but not too great. Overrated imo. eczematic (1215), Sydney, Australia
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 6, 2002 excellent stuff - smooth, maltier than most tripels, and fruity-spicy. enormous, creamy, cloudy head - one of the best heads i know. quite sweet, round and yeasty. not unlike my own hello! tripel in fact.
