| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 7, 2002 Light but festive aroma, white cake and flowers. Hazy, light golden amber color with impressive head and lacing. Honeyed apple, vanilla and malt flavors blend seamlessly into the spiced, lightly bitter finish. Texture is absolutely spot on for these well-built flavors. Efferevescent and light on the tongue, creamy, and without the viscous heaviness some tripels can bring. Incredible balance, and one of the more complex yet laid-back tripels I have yet had. Definitely recommended. karsten (241), odense, Denmark

The high alcohol percentage is absolutely not dominant, and the beer is very easy to drink. jerohen (1615), Bussum, Netherlands

Malty and a bit fruity taste, with obvious alcohol presence. This could have been a reasonable triple, if it wasn't for the bitter and dry finish.
