Medicinal, vinous aroma with lots of oxidation. Stale, carboardy flavor with some yeast, tart apples and Windex(at least what I imagine Windex would taste like). Very little carbonation. Cork had almost no hiss as it was opened which is never a good sign. Pours a cloudy almost still )very little carbonation) deep gold, copper with no head. Aroma is of oxidized cider and cardboard, paint thinner and very solvent like. Tastes medicinal phenolic, with more oxidation and stale bread. Slightly yeasty and astringent finish. The aroma is pleasantly sweet with plenty of spices. The alcohol is mild and blends well. The flavor is soft and sweet with cloves, fruit, and an array of spices. The body contained no visible carbonation, was very hazy with a lot of yeast chunks and brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of vinous malts and dough. Its mouth feel is tingly mildly vinous with a port like smooth vinous aftertaste. Its flavor contained raisin plum port like vinuous malty dark beer brown malts notes and was very tasty. An excellent beer that I would buy again.
