Poured a hazy orange color with a large, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, caramel, citrus, spices, and alcohol. Taste of yeast, citrus, banana, spices, light alcohol in the finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) My version was 9,5% ABV. Golden amber with a tall, pretty head. Very powerfull, full-bodied with bottle fermentation. A rather dominating bitterness followed by a soft sweetness in the finish. One of my best Tripels so far. 120594

A damn good beer. More hazy than the usual Tripel, with a nice acidity as well as the usual strength and sweetness. Best consumed in Brugge. Of course, what could be better than drinking great Belgian beer in this greatest of Belgian locales. :)

Smells of Maris otter pale malt. Lot of Caramel and toffe notes with some fig and banana. Alcohol is prominent. Vinous and oily mouthfeel. Somewhat earthy and floral finish. Nice but not really a triple.

Bottle, Passage Cafe, Brugge, Belgium. Appearance: Very attractive. Honey-Amber color with soft white long-lasting head. Smells distinctly belgian. Floral with a slight strength to it. Somewhat alcohol and malty. Flavor is crisp and strong. Flory and slightly estery. Mild bitterness. Banana and warm caramel. Body is full and cloying. Beer feels quite heavy, especially given it’s appearance.

This amber ale pours with a small white head. The flavor is malty sweet with a hoppy finish.

A beer with much alcohol (I found). Though I had stronger beers ....... The taste was all right.

Bottle. Lable reads "best enjoyed before 090792. Small white head that fully diminished, yeasty, sparse lacing, carbonated, and an orange brown hue. Aroma was nice-malty, caramel, sweet, spicy, and alcohol. Flavor was somewhat sweet, malty, caramel, spicy, vinuous but not overly so. Very tasty IMO. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Well worth a try!
