Poured a hazy amber color with a large off white head. Fruity, citric and spicy aroma. Some alcohol as well. Starts off sweet and ends in a dry bitter finish.
Updated based on 1996 Vintage Magnum bottle courtesy of MaiBockAddict.

Sticky head, hazy golden orange body. Fruity aroma with a lot of alcohol. Flavor is sweet of fruit, apples. Soft and smooth but a little too sweet.

Amber pour with big thick egg shell colored head. Aroma of light pine, citrus and spice. Initial hoppy bite and full alcohol taste. Malty throughout.

Cloudy light amber color, creamy head. Hop aroma, and malt, delicate. Strong malty taste, with a good hopping; well structured and mature; interesting.

Beer 7 of Belgium trip, after several others that I had previously rated. This was at a little museum in Brugge. Bottle. Deep gold, big white head. Aroma was bready, some spice, almost clove like. Wheat bread flavor, with a fruity Belgian yeast, dry finish. A nice tripel.

Light hoppy & sweet malts. Bit of honey, sugar. Off-white foamy lacing head over clear amber. Med carb in med silky watery body. Good sweetness up front, light malts. Finish is light bitter, watery. Decent flavor but a bit weak.

Brown/amber color with a big bubbly ecru head. Lots of extemporaneous stuff floating about. Heavy sweet aroma of dates, pears and apricots with wafts of alcohol. Strong overripe fruit flavors. Lesser notes of floral hops and spicy hops. Etoh comes out as it warms. Very light on the tongue. Quite acidic in the finish, with flavors of vanilla and coconut milk, cleanses the palate a bit much. Very much a triple, just not my favorite in the class. After the acidity subsides there are some long lastng flavors that are rather enjoyable.

Spicy and sweet malty aroma, rich malty, fruity, winey, citrusy and bitter palate: delicious combination under the giant and solid head. Simply golden nectar.
