Hazy orange colour. A bit of pepper in the aroma. Flavour is fresh and has a little sweetness at first, then some yeastiness followed by a dry, metallic aftertaste.

Ok beer (I guess). Light orange with a lemon tinge. Active early but this soon faded away to not much. Nose has touches of sugary fruit, almost to the extent of showing a baked dessert aroma. Not completely sold onthis but not bad all the same. Palate is a light touch for a tripel and shows more sweetish fruits and malts, the latter slightly candied, and a firmer and midly bitter finish. A bit sticky right throughout the palate. I can’t pick the junipers but then again I’d need to know what they taste like, right?

Pours golden orange with minimal head. Aromas of light caramel malt with mild citrus and herbal undertones (from the juniper). Rather clean. Palate translates well, much like any other belgian tripel, light caramel malt and spicy phenols still present but toned down, with an added pine needle character, very fresh. Finishes clean with added dry yeast and hop notes. Interesting spin on a classic style!

Bottled. Cloudy amber, no head. Mango aroma. Sweet with clean mouthfeel. Sweaty and grainy, soapy and papery. Finishes with medium bitterness. Abit edgy and lacing deeper character.

Bottle 33cl.
Unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (050908)
