25cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Really clear attractive reddish chestnut with lasting thick beige head. A pretty fruity Belgian. Bit of green apple, quite good fruity malts and a touch of hop on the end, but mostly this is about the fruit and malt. Pretty tasty to be honest.

330ml bottle (Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks)
Pork and mange-tout stir fry with soy sauce. Some more conventional fruity esters too, I guess. Plenty of tangy sticky hops. Much softer with the yeast in. Soft and lightly malty after that, and less like stir-fry.

Bottle @ home.
Clear light to medium red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, vintage, plum, wood, alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (280608)

0.33 l bottle. Hazy mahagony color with fizzy tan head. Licorice, chocolate, alcohol, toffee and vanilla in the aroma. Toffeish, berryish, bready and chocolatey flavor with notes of licorice. Surprisingly easy and ordinary for a 9 % beer.
