Cask at The Brunswick, Derby 17-08-08 Pouring almost black with beige head, this beer is quite thick, roasty and with a creamy woodiness.Drinks well for a 6% beer, some wet woody twigs dipped into some smooth gentle coffee, nice.

Cask at the Brunswick Inn, Derby. Black with a purple tint and a dense tan head; aroma of sour fruit and chocolate malt; milky chocolate flavour with sticky damson poached fruit; leading to a dry coffee finish.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A very dark brown beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel as well as light notes of roasted malt, leading to a smooth sweet finish.
