Mes_and_Sim (4476), Highgate, Greater London, England Feb 5, 2007 A Mes rate:
Cask at Baker Street ’Spoons. Dark blonde looks, so so head. Very hoppy. Big floral and aromatic character. A little fruit in there too. Downable. leaparsons (3963), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jul 31, 2005 Cask, The Craddock, Leicester. Dark red/brown with a small head. Aromas are very malty and moreish with fruit and hops spices. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with some sweet hops. Quite fruity and moreish yet pretty standard. A good glugger. Daniel_Brown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England Jun 26, 2005 Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Burnished copper, with a fluffy head - good looking. Big flavour, crunchy hops, tangy. A strong nettley kick, with a berry and fizzy background. Something of Alka Seltzer, with p*ss in it’s flavour and aroma. Stylistically indeterminate (Bitter? ESB?), but good stuff.
