Commercial Description:
Before aluminum kegs, beer was kept in wooden casks. These casks had a hole (called a "bunghole") for filling the keg, which was plugged by driving a cork ("bung") into the hole with a wooden "bunghammer" There's no more-fitting name for this massive, powerful, traditional English-style barleywine. An Ale this big deserves its own special glass designed to accent it's flavor and show off it's beauty and you can take it home! The fruity, floral aroma pays omage to the generous amounts of malt and hops. Upon your first sip, your taste buds are greeted with a fruit maltiness and slight alcoholic warmth (9% abv). This slowly fades as the flavor turns to a mellow fresh English hop finish and a bitter sweet aftertaste that encourages you to take another sip!

Pours ruby red with a thin off white head. Smells of oaky with some mild spicy undertones as well as earthy hops. Tastes mildly fruity buty a bit thin with some oaky elements and tea like hops creeping in.
