Draught. Mondiale 2009 - day 2. Clear bright orange with a small creamy/milky off-white head - odd, but striking. Dry, slightly citrusy aroma, quite grassy, with background syrupy sweetness; very grainy. Taste generically and boringly grainy and harsh, with some candied orange peel. Light bodied, on the still side, and a somewhat harsh aftertaste - another for the "not great" pile.

Appearance: fine haze on amber with mid fine white top.
Nose: Strong maple character , honey sweet nose. 6-
Flavor/Palate : Thin bodied , sweet character with little following up. Boring straight sweet sided brew.

hazy copper pour, thick nitro head. Aroma of pine, and some very slight sweet what might be maple. flavor is watery, and sugary. but not maple to be found really.

Draft at Mondial 2009. Clear copper with a thin white creamy head with great retention and lacing. Aroma is wooe, maple and malt with a slight touch of hops. Flavor is also woody with maple and malt, maybe a little less sweet than expected. Thin to medium body. No carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. I will have to try it again since I sampled many big beers before this one.
