Clear bright orange with a small creamy/milky off-white head - odd, but striking. Dry, slightly citrusy aroma, quite grassy, with background syrupy sweetness; very grainy. Taste generically and boringly grainy and harsh, with some candied orange peel. Light bodied, on the still side, and a somewhat harsh aftertaste - another for the "not great" pile. Clear copper with a thin white creamy head with great retention and lacing. Aroma is wooe, maple and malt with a slight touch of hops. Flavor is also woody with maple and malt, maybe a little less sweet than expected. Thin to medium body. No carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. I will have to try it again since I sampled many big beers before this one.
