Dec 18, 2007 Deep black color, with a thick tan-colored head, with a mild roasted malt nose, with a faint vanilla cappucino accent, with a subtle fruity accent and some dark roasty coffee beans, and a none smoky aspect in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with smooth raosted malt, vanilla character, with a subtle smoky accent, with some cappucino, iced coffee flavors, leading towards a malty, roasty, vanilla finish.

Apr 20, 2007 Fut. Arome très légèrement fumé, bien chocolat et torréfié, faible de houblons. Couleur opaque noire-brune, mousse mince qui reste et colle au verre. Goût torréfié, légèrement fumé. Amertume présente en finale. Corps aqueux, effervescence moyenne, j’aurais préféré plus faible.

Oct 1, 2006 Draught. Dark brown/black with a small white head. The aroma has faint smooth chocolate notes, roast, and bread. Sourish cocoa flavour and toasty bread and a touch of smoke though in no way is it in the forefront. Overall, it’s one of their better brews.
