Dec 19, 2009 Draught@Bruuveri. Amber colour, mediumsized beige foamy head Aroma is very fruity and grassy hops along with mild liquorice and caramel malts as well. Flavour is fruits, wood, hops, grass and some liquorice. Quite bittery finish. Pleasant and balanced.

Nov 21, 2009 (Draught at Bruuveri, Helsinki) Poured amber and clear with medium sized and white head. Aroma was hoppy, fruity and malty. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Tasted hoppy, bitter, malty and lightly fryity. Bitter aftertaste. Clean, flawless beer with good aroma and boring flavour.

Nov 18, 2009 Draught (Bruuveri, Helsinki) - Amber in colour with fairly lively carbonation. Slightly hoppy aroma with hints of grapefruit and caramel. Crisp and hoppy taste with spicy malt, grapefruit and caramel. Tasty, enjoyable and it certainly doesn’t taste its strength.

Clear copper brown color, small off-white head. American hoppy nose with sticky Bruuveri Simainen like citrusy notes. Quite light palate for ESB. Flowery hoppy bitter with odd harsh notes (similar to nose). Aftertaste brings some caramel too. Different than the original version, some similarities with Simainen.

Amber in color, lots of fruits in aroma. Sweer and fruity taste with a bitter aftertaste. Really nice beer.

Nothing like the old unfiltered Bruuveri versions, which were more Belgian-styled, this is a full on pale ale in the modern Danish or US style.
Huge fruity hop aroma, amarillo right to the fore. Taste also sweet and fruity, again, packed with new world hops. Malts simple and sweet, with a touch of ginger too in places. Finish again fruity. Not really an ’ESB’ - this is a strong pale ale.
