Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - Summer. Occasionally at other times of year.
A very pale and moderately hopped beer; malty with slight bitterness, the taste of the wheat malt, edged with a slight bitterness, lingers long on the palate. Using as much wheat malt as our brewer feels he can do, this very pale and lightly hopped beer does not try to imitate the German or Belgian wheat beers, but is brewed as an English beer.

Cask cellar run at Ship & Mitre April Fest 08. Hazy gold. Bit of yeast on aroma. Farty. Middle has what? Some mid citrus orangey fruit. Finish has some stinging hop. As a wheat beer, it’s poor. Overall not great.

Cask (gravity) Olde Dolphin Summer Festival, Derby. If the brewer feels that this is "as much wheat as he feels he can do" then he ought to be a devil and feel some more. Stands up as a good, pale, calmy hopped beer with a passing chaff of wheat.

GBBF 2003, tap: Very sulfury, egg-like nose - just not good. Pale gold color and a scumy head. A muted but mouth-filling bitter dryness is the only thing interesting in the taste profile. Juice-like all around. Thinish. The smell just brought this beer down for me.

NOOOOOOO - it smells like somebody farted into your glass - pale straw yellow. Thin wheat taste, ripe banana - if you really concentrate, imagine a banana and have a banana in your mouth, watery finish - terrible wheat copy.
