[ As Bumerbräu Spezial ]. Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, straw, pale malt, dusty, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Flaver is a bit lime sotne alike. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090605]

Bottle from Stefan: Pale golden, a bit unclear with a greenish sheen, quickly collapsing white head; sweetish grainy-strawy, slightly fruity, nose; light sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied, almost a bit sticky; short sweetish-bitter finish. Not really bad, but disappointing..........

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a short foamy white layer. Moderately sweet and slightly grainy and biscuity pale malty nose with a herbal and minimal grassy hoppy notes. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Strawy pale malt character with notes of biscuits and grains; sweet and slightly bitter malty finish with a light touch of herbal hops. Very close to the Bucher Helles, perhaps a bit more hops accented (20.II.09).

bottle from Bierzwerg, historic label from the 50s. Clear golden yellow colour, rather small head. Full-bodied, intensively malty with nice aromatic hops. A goodie.
