Simple, sweet honey and oranges, sour wet dog finish, overall very bland and a little putrid with some mold or compost flavors. Smells like old, spoiled liquid malt extract. Trev (893), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

Fairly light in flavour. Surprisingly bland, I found myself struggling to notice anything at all about this beer. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 13, 2009 Mild butterscotch underlies the caramel malt and floral hops in the nose. Clear dark golden body is topped by a light off white, fine bubbled head that recedes to a thin cover. Chewy caramel up front with some fruity esters and a touch of butterscotch joined by a decent balancing bitterness and floral hop notes. Toasted malts emerge in the aftertaste. Butterscotch becomes stronger as it warms. Medium body with moderate carbonation and somewhat slick texture. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Apr-09.
