Pours a dark amber-brown with a slight tan head & some lacing. Aroma not particularly assertive, and more akin to a brown ale than a porter. Tastes lightly toasted, a hint of smokiness, but mostly like a dark brown ale. Thin and tinny. Body is lightly creamy and under-carbonated. Can’t say I cared for it - lacking depth and too watery for my taste. Oakes (8139), Kowloon, Hong Kong

Hints of toast, light earth, light wood. The light, soft body has subtle chocolate accents, notes of light caramel and a hint of woodiness. This is a sweeter, milder interpretation. Pours a near flat body, hardly any carbonation nor head. nDeep reddish brown body.Nose is surprisingly fruity with a ash malt undertone. The flavour and texture is pure Swans - oily and quite an elixir, noticeable raspberry tongue with cherry, smoky malt and buttery. Good but not what I expect from a Porter.
