J_Hunter (165), British Columbia, Canada Jul 26, 2008 pours a yellow with a nice sweet honey aroma and honey taste but also very pale flavours and light on the palate Crit (2239), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jul 20, 2008 Hazy gold, fast fading beige head. Neutral nose, Light sweet profile, bland and boring crazychuck (16), Canada Jul 19, 2008 Had this at a cask festival at Central City; the version was slightly different from the norm (no details provided).
Aroma has strong honey notes. A light body with a sweet attack yields a very clean, crisp finish. A good summer/patio ale, but really not that remarkable. mgermani (597), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 2, 2008 Pours a clear pale yellow with a finger-thick egg-white head & some lacing with an unremarkable aroma - no honey yet. Taste is very refreshing, solid pale malt with a leafy green hop taste and definite honey in the finish. Body is crisp and tightly carbonated (served on draught). Well executed, nice honey taste, otherwise unremarkable. Bradrcr (606), Renton, Washington, USA Sep 22, 2007 7/14/07 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with no discernable hop character. Appearance is a clear light gold with a low white head. Flavor is grainy sweet malt forward with a caramel note, followed by a fermenting honey note, sourness and moderate bittering, but no hop flavor. Mouthfeel is low bodied with a medium/high carb feel. Overall, this is clean and simple like a lager, and just not round like a pale ale should be.
