Had this at a cask festival at Central City; the version was slightly different from the norm (no details provided). Aroma has strong honey notes. A light body with a sweet attack yields a very clean, crisp finish. A good summer/patio ale, but really not that remarkable.

Pours a clear pale yellow with a finger-thick egg-white head & some lacing with an unremarkable aroma - no honey yet. Taste is very refreshing, solid pale malt with a leafy green hop taste and definite honey in the finish. Body is crisp and tightly carbonated (served on draught). Well executed, nice honey taste, otherwise unremarkable.

7/14/07 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with no discernable hop character. Appearance is a clear light gold with a low white head. Flavor is grainy sweet malt forward with a caramel note, followed by a fermenting honey note, sourness and moderate bittering, but no hop flavor. Mouthfeel is low bodied with a medium/high carb feel. Overall, this is clean and simple like a lager, and just not round like a pale ale should be.
