Dark orange in color with medium offwhite head and nice lacing. Aroma is rich, hoppy and fruity. Flavor is also nice floral and grapefruit hops and a little fruity, but not as strong as I’d like, but still great.

Pours a translucent golden/copper with a medium bubbly white head that laced. Aroma of tea, mixed citrus, caramel, orange and some floral notes. Flavor of pine, grapefruit, orange, some caramel and bready/grainy malts to balance some grassiness. Like how the flavors changed and grew on me as I spent time with it. Kind of clean for a double IPA.

22 oz bomber. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium whitish beige head. Aroma of caramel malts, faint floral hops with a bit of orange peel. Taste is caramel malty with hints of floral hops, grassy undertones and an orangy finish. Not bad.

22oz bottle, picked up at Chucks, good floral IIPA not as bitter and big time slap in the face hops but very floral to me, a nice IIPA easy drinking and surprisingly low on ABV at a modest 7.9 very floral and citrussy Glad Buckeye Got out some bottles :D

The Dan Journal #56. Tasted Sometime in November 2006. 22oz bomber. Slightly hazy with a golden honey hue. Clinging ring of white head. Floral citrus hop nose. Full bodied with a big bitterness. Super bitter grapefruity flavor. Sweet initial malts quickly replaced by the lively grapefruit flavors. Solid brew. Thanks Vyvvy!

On tap @ the Beer Engine: Pours an orange gold with a white head. Aroma, grassy, citrus, and piny hops, some pale malts. Flavor, citrus, and pale malts flavors with a grassy piny bitterness on the end. Really good.

6/07/2007: Buckeye ’76 India Pale Ale is orange and cloudy with a dense, creamy, off-white/beige head. There is also some lacing present as the head collapses. The aroma is mostly toffee malt with some citrus. The flavor also has a lot of toffee malt with orange citrus from the Centiennial hops. There is a mild to moderate level of hop flavor and bitterness. The alcohol is well tucked away which is nicely done considering that this beer doesn’t have much sweetness to it at all. This beer has a medium body with a very smooth and slightly creamy texture. This is a very good and surprisingly easy to drink Double/Imperial IPA.

22 oz bottle (OG 1.076; 7.8% ABV) from River’s Bend. Shared with Rob at our weekly/bi-weekly beer tasting.

Draft beer. Light malt and hop aroma with an average frothy head. Glass laced nicely as I drank. Pleaseant light sweet flavor with some nice citruisy hop flavor. Very lively beer. Medium bitter hop finish. Very enjoyable!
