Good sized light tan head of fine bubbles. Head reduces slowly. Very hazy rusty brown in color. Unusual for a IIPA to be this hazy. Light carbonation. Succulant hoppy aroma with plenty of citrus (pineapple and grapefruit) and floral hops. Light malts also. Flavor is sweet and bitter. Plenty of sweet malts for balance and body. Little less hop charater than in the aroma but still plenty to go around. Some spruce and tangerine. Finish is slick and coating with plenty of bitterness and a slight tingle from the alcohol. Hides its alcohol very well then it sneaks up on you at the end. A very good IIPA but one that is a little sweeter than most. Thanks to Dogbrick for this one.

Poured with a dark amber and orange body. The thick off white head is cliging tenaciously to the side of the glass. The aroma is old oranges and pineapples. There is a littel caramel, but the flowery hops are the star. The taste is grapefruit and toffee. I thought the hops woudl be more aggressive, but they are surprisingly restrained. The taste also has some black tea and finishes with a kiss of pine. Surprisingly thin mouthfeel. Recieved in a trade, thanks OhioDad.

Bottle. Hazy orange brown pour. Huge grapefruit citrus and floral hop aroma, with some sweet malt notes. Flavor is also a little unbalanced to me - not quite enough of sweet caramel malt. Still very good, huge hops, and a very assertive bitter bite.

Hazy orange brown with a large foamy off white head. Biscuity malt with some floral and citrus hop notes. Chewy malt interspersed with acrid floral tones, some citron, and a mild bitterness in the finish that gives way to more of an astringent character. Mouthfeel is on the heavy side of medium, fairly chewy.

Bottle. Hazy amber peach color with a light tan head. A sweet bubblegum, candy, citrus and caramel aroma that lends way to pine hops as it warms. Smooth rolling bitter hop flavor, caramel malts, and mint. Reminds me a little of the Bigfoot. Very ncie. Thanks to OhioDad (Scott) for the trade.

Thanks to beeryum for this beer.

Poured a cloudy dark golden with a fizzy off-white head. Piney hop aroma, though perhaps a tad medicinal. Taste is an assertive hop kick up front interlaced with alcohol, with a dry sticky yeasty aftertaste that lingers long after it’s worn out its welcome. Feels rather unbalanced, like an overweight boxer punching wildly not knowing where to aim. Certainly not a bad beer, but tasted rather amateurish for a IIPA... I think Hippie was better.

Bomber from ohiodad. Pours a nice light amber color with a medium foamy head. Nose of big fresh hopps. Taste is full and tasty. Big hopps in the finish. Missing is something other then hopps, needs a bit more malt in the mix, but still has a great feel and texture. thanx scott
