Nose is primarily grapefruit and typical C-hops scents.
Taste is dry, bitter, big centennial hop flavors, not too much sweetness from malts. Boutip (2360), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Aroma of bitter hops with some floral notes and a nice caramel malt backbone. Taste is also a nice mix of well balanced bitter hops with some floral undertones and a sizable caramel malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation and no sign of alcohol. Very well done, easily drinkable and very refreshing.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 26, 2009 Pours Gold. Citrus hopped nose. Reminded me of 2H, which makes sense since they feature centennials. Sweet maltiness balances the hops nicely. This is barely an IIPA, but damn tasty. Ibrew2or3 (2761), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2009 Sweet bonus from Beerman6686. Pours deep gold with thin off white head. The aroma is full and yummy with citrus tangelo and grapefruit hops. Yum. The taste is smooth and a bit thin with flavored citrus tangelo juice mixing with an increasing amount of grapefruit hop bitterness. By midway a mild level of sweet maltiness and graininess surface. This is a solid IPA but timid IIPA. Very tasty either way. sebletitje (1914), Tampa, Florida, USA

Nose is caramel, pine sap, and tart grapefruit. Flavor is dry with some caramel and grapefruit. Medium-bodied with lingering red grapefruit and pine. Nice malt presence, but a bit thin in mouthfeel. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 22, 2009 On tap at the Beer Engine. Haven’t had this one in forever (I think the last time was Barley’s Mini RAF in 2006). Clear copper/amber pour with a medium off-white head. Citrusy and piney centennial aroma. Citrusy flavor up front, then a bit of malt, then a piney bitter finish. Yep, still like this one a lot. roborb (60), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

It pours a hazy orange color with a very large white head. The Aroma is great for an IPA. It has a very distinct citrus and fruit smell. There is great lacing and I find myself really digging this beer. I had no trouble finishing a bomber and found myself wanting more. This is a great, very drinkable, IPA.
