Hop aroma with malt, not as refined as I ve seen with other similar beers .Flavour as expected was hoppy, positive surprise was good presence of decent malt. Very nice. Alcohol present but did not do much effect on final effect. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 20, 2005 Pours hazy copper with a medium sized white head. Big pine/grapefruit hop nose that starts to thin out fairly quickly. Pretty run of the mill kind of stuff. Not balanced all that well. Far more hops than malt. Finish is fairly clean. Doesn’t spark a lot of interest from me. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2005 Bright bronze colour. Chewy, piney hops with plenty of crystal malt in the aroma. Sweet & bitter flavour with piney hops. A simple imperial IPA two-step that I’ve seen a dozen times before. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

A large head came from the pour that sat above a hazy amber body.
Flowery, resiny hop aroma. The flavor balance runs towards the bitter side, lots of hops here. Very nice solid IPA.

Cloudy dull amber with a lasting bit of creamy head...smelly, spicy citrus-cedary nose...on the tongue, very sweet, moderately hoppy, lightly oaky, turning quite bitter and orangy...full, slightly rustic unfiltered and chewy mouthfeel. Nice, very nice. jerc (3911), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Thanks to eyedrinkale for alerting me to the opening of the bottle. Moderate hoppy aroma, citrus. Flavour is quite hop dominant with not much malt registering on the radar. Lots of citrus and muddled hops - resin, leafy... hard to pull apart. Medium palate. Interesting. More please? CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Pours a thin white, non-regenerating head with an amber body. Nose is very lactic yet hoppy. Piney flavour upon a milky candle wax. Too tart.
