Very good aroma of hops and citrus. Medium to full body. Flavor was also very complex with the same tones as aroma with a citrus and alcohol finish. I enjoyed this greatly and will look for more from this brewer. Pailhead (2605), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Pours a cloudy dull orange with a nice white head. Caramel malt up front with a big citrus hop finish. Has sort of an orange juice flavor that last from start to finish and lingers into the aftertaste. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2005 Hazy brown orange color with nice creamy retentive head. The nose is nice and earthy with some citrusy pine charactaristics and a nice balanced body. The flavor is moderately bitter, not very sweet but a medium sized body to support the hopping levels. The finish is tangy with a spicy, peppery tail. Good IPA, not too assertive with plenty of grace. brewrater (91), akron, Ohio, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2005 Small tight beaded tan head, good retention and a lovely clingy lace. Very hazy orange with a peachy glow. BIG citrusy, brewed with orange peels, that explains that. Also notes of fruit, melon and a bit of malt in the nose. Medium body, prickly on the tongue. Ample hops on the palate, citrusy, piney notes, hint of pear along with adequate malts, lightly toasty, caramel too boot. Finish is dry, fruity, hoppy and resiny. Juicey with a pleasent tang. Thanks to CaptainCougar for the trade!
